Hey there, I’m Rachael - wife, mom, grandma, and lifelong learner who believes life gets sweeter (and a whole lot lighter) when we invite Jesus into every part of it. I’ve spent years learning that personal growth isn’t just about habits and hustle - it’s about heart. True transformation happens when we let the Lord do the deep work inside us. Whether it’s in our health, our homes, or our mindset, His grace really is enough. I started Rediscovering Grace because I wanted a place to share what I’m learning along the way - about faith, marriage, wellness, and walking in purpose. Around here, we talk about real life: the highs, the lows, the laughter, and the lessons that keep pointing us back to Jesus. When I’m not writing, you can usually find me hiking with my husband Keith, playing with my grandkids, or singing too loud in the car. My prayer is that this space reminds you of how loved, capable, and called you are, and that you walk away ready to grow in grace and live with purpose every single day.

“God wants to bring us to the understanding that we weren’t saved to do something for Him. We were saved so that we might know Him in intimate daily fellowship.”
----------- Steve McVey

Do you ever just feel like you’re on vibrate? Like your whole nervous system is buzzing, and it’s hard to settle down, find patience, or even sleep? When the hum of the stove fan makes you want to crawl out of your skin? I’ve been there. I lived in it for 15 years.
I lived in that constant state of overdrive. My adrenals were shot. My heart was heavy. Life had been one stressful thing after another. Death, family losses, scary health issues for loved ones, and carrying too much for too long. I was everyone’s rock, but honestly? I was crumbling inside.
I said yes to everyone. I answered middle-of-the-night phone calls, picked up kids at 4 a.m., and tried to be the perfect wife, mom, and friend. On top of that, I was working multiple jobs and running on fumes. After my last pregnancy, my body and mind just couldn’t do it anymore. I slipped into depression. I was ashamed, inconsistent with my medication, and trapped in a cycle of guilt and exhaustion. I missed laughing. I missed me.
But even in that dark, foggy place, the Lord was so kind. My brain couldn’t focus on Scripture, but He was there. I’d turn on music, and the kids and I would sing our hearts out in the car on the way to school. That little bit of joy each morning? It was grace. Pure merciful grace.

When I finally realized my health had to change, God met me right there. Who knew addressing gut health & food choices MATTERED so much? I started learning how our bodies are designed & how they can heal when we give them what they need. That’s when I found the supplements that supported my gut and calmed my system. Slowly, I started to feel peace again. My body began to cooperate. I could think clearly. I could breathe. I could laugh. I felt like the restoring of my soul verses were playing out in real time right before my eyes.
“He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
~Psalm 23:3

That’s what Plexus did for me, it helped bring my body back into balance so I could live the life God designed me for. Not survival mode. Not overdrive. Just living.
Now, even when stress hits or life gets crazy, my nervous system doesn’t go into panic mode. I can show up for my family and my faith from a place of peace instead of depletion. What a gift.
This is why I’ve shared Plexus for 11 years now. Because I know what it’s like to be that tired, overwhelmed woman who’s holding it all together on the outside while falling apart on the inside. And I also know what it’s like to come out the other side, rested, peaceful, whole.

Friend, if you’re feeling that “vibrate” in your soul right now, know that there’s hope. Your body can heal. Your mind can rest. And God’s grace is big enough to meet you right where you are.
If you’re ready to calm your system and start feeling whole again, message me. I’d love to share what helped me find peace and balance again, body, mind, and soul. 💗

🎶
When your mind won’t rest and your heart beats fast,
When the noise won’t fade, and peace won’t last,
Take a breath, friend, you’re not alone.
Your body can heal, your soul can find home.
I’ve been there too, tired and torn,
But grace showed up in the early morn.
If you’re ready to rest, to breathe, to mend,
Message me, I’ll walk with you, friend.

Winning the War in Your Mind: Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life by Craig Groeschel tackles the internal battle many of us face every day — the battle of negative thought patterns, lies we believe, and the voice in our head that tries to convince us we’re not enough.
Groeschel leans on both Scripture and neuroscience. He helps readers understand how our brains work, how repeating lies scrambles our thinking, and how we can rewire our minds with truth.
The book is organized around four principles:
Replacement — Remove the lies we believe, replace them with God’s truths.
Rewire — Practice new thoughts, create healthy thinking habits.
Reframe — Learn to view your circumstances through a God-centered lens.
Rejoice — Worship, prayer, gratitude become weapons in your mind battle.
Each chapter ends with reflection questions, exercises, or declarations to help you internalize truth and make change.
